Taittinger Prestige Rose immediately stands out for its intense, shimmering hue whose secret lies in the fact that it is a blend, which is more complex and costly to produce. A quantity of still red wine (15%) produced from the best Pinot Noirs from Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys is added to the final blend, to give this cuvee its unmistakable color and vibrant intensity on the palate. A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay the colour is brilliant bright pink with aromas of fresh crushed raspberry, cherry and blackberry fruit. With a fine persistent mousse the palate strikes a nice balance of velvety texture, fresh and crisp red fruit and an elegant, full-bodied taste. Sip with fruit salad or smoked salmon.
