TheDalmore KingAlexander III showcases TheDalmore??s commitment to the art of cask curation; it is the world’s first single malt to create an assemblage of six cask finishes.

Initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, the liquid is apportioned between small batch ex-Bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. These are then brought together in an in-situ Sherry butt to harmonize.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Red berry fruits and hints of passion fruit
  • Palate: Citrus zest, vanilla pod, cr??me caramel and crushed almonds
  • Finish: Cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
